Pathway to God: Diversity in Prayer and Poetry

This series will show and enact a multitude of prayerways, and celebrate the wonderfully diverse voices of those who have stood before God.
We will pray using poetry, prose, play, song and other languages of the body.

We will write at each session: speaking from the heart, responding to various prompts and suggestions, in our own unique voices.

Week One:
We Are Standing on Holy Ground.  Each of us brings her own sacred being to this group; to this day; to this world.

Week Two:
The Spirit Helps Us: We do not know how to pray as we should (Romans 8:26), and that's a good thing, too.

Week Three:
Honoring and Using the Body: The living body. The dying body.

Week Four:
You Are the Salt of the Earth: Exploring the meaning of this image in ourselves and others.
