Retreat:
The Spiritual Ministry Center was founded in 1987 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart, an international congregation of Catholic women, serving in 45 countries. In accompanying retreatants and facilitating retreats in a myriad of ways, we come from a rich heritage of tradition and an openness of spirit. Our charism is to discover and make known God’s love in our world today. Our commitment to this ministry of spiritual direction and retreat work is rooted in who we are.
The San Diego International Airport in located right downtown on the Harbor. Our street address can be confused with the suburb of Del Mar 20 miles north. However, we are directly over the Point Loma peninsula on the water in Ocean Beach. The ride over the hill is about 15 minutes or 25 by highway around the peninsula.
